Fenetra Associates have been implementing software
systems for over a decade in a wide range of business and industry
types. Each business will have their own issues and concerns ranging from
customer
care and union agreements to ISO audits and validations. To implement
systems in these environments means using valuable internal resources, taking
them
away from their day-to-day jobs and so effecting there efficiency.
Fenetra can Project Manage this process from the pre-sale phase right through
to
the post-live support stage and on to follow-up projects.
Consider This:
Typically there are several elements to consider when planning to buy
and implement software.
- What software to buy: We are an independent company who will look
at the software available dependant on your needs. Salesmen can be very
convincing and demonstrations impressive, but does the software do what
you really need.
- Hardware: Is the Server, Network and Workstations up to the standard
needed to run the software.
- Resources: Are the resources available to you familiar with computers
and data input techniques and have they been involved in your Continuous
Improvement Process.
- Data Capture and System Configuration: Apart from the security element
of setting up the system and its configuration ready for use, you may have
to collect data prior to going live. This can be time consuming but will
need preparation and accuracy of input.
- Reporting: A system is only as good as the reports you get out of
it and that in turn is dependant on the ease of data input. How will the
system be configured to do this and are the report templates available
in the standard package.
These are just some of the basic issues that arise when implementing new
systems. We will look after the Project Management and co-ordination of
the resources, materials etc. and liaise with the software developers on
your behalf.
